First Oreo

The other day Aya used those new teeth to attack her first Oreo. I tried to guide her in the right direction, taking it apart so that she could get to all the white cream filling. She had a blast, as I think the pictures make clear!

More teeth . . . Please, let it stop!

Aya has several teeth coming in which is, of course, highly enjoyable for the rest of the family. I believe the count is up to 10 or 11. The increased drool flow is kind of fun. And I have no idea how you get a butt rash because your gums are sore!

Yeah, it has been a busy month. After a month of being good about posting, I've been bad for the last one. So, here's some shots of a formerly good sleeper!

What a week!

Aya loves PaCo's dog "Harry."
Amazing how fast they grow!
I think Harry is a little jealous.

It started with a day at the auto show, continued with "one of those weeks" at work, and ended with a hockey game and babysitting (otherwise known as something called "parenting" when it is Cami who is doing it. So, here are some pictures of the week, from Aya playing at PaCo's (get it? "Pa Cote") to the snowy house after two snowfalls. Here's to next week starting fresh!

An early, cold morning in Pontiac

In preparation for a series on the Biblical Prophets that I'll be doing in February and March, I met a couple of people (Stacy Mallard & Jared Olafsson) from church Saturday morning to film some video. Before doing so, I took advantage of the early morning light to snap these shots. I'm pretty happy with them, particularly since it was only 6 degrees!
